The Coronavirus/COVID-19/SARS-Voc-2 pandemic is nothing like this world has experienced in recent times. It is a new infectious disease that causes respiratory illness with symptoms such as shortness of breath, cough, fever, and overall difficulty in breathing. The virus spreads primarily through direct contact or through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. 

Property Preperation

The first step in the process is cleaning the property. A clean property allows for our EPA/CDC guided cleaning process to work as effectively as possible.

Apply an EPA Approved Disinfectant

The second step in the process is safely and properly apply an EPA disinfectant in the property following the protocols provided by the EPA and CDC. We apply a disinfectant to surfaces and high traffic touch areas using a sodium hypochlorite solution. 

The EPA has released a list of approved disinfectants for use against SARS-Cov-2, the Novel Coronavirus that causes COVID-19. It is important to note that the majority of the approved disinfectants are listed as PESTICIDES. At Hero Remediation, we believe in safer alternatives that are rated to be just as effective. 

Dry the Property

The final step in our process is to properly dry the property. Using our specialty water restoration and mold remediation equipment, we make sure the property is left in a safe manner.
